When many people think of a private lessons, they think of licneced teaches, or poeple with formal expreience teaching or even teaching a school subject such as math or English. This is a real misconcepting, there is a demand for teaching almost everything.

The qualifications of a good private teacher are 3 things:

Have the ability to listen to your student/s

If you ever had a teacher that just didn't listen to your questions or "understand what you were trying to ask", then you know how important it is to listen.

Have lots of patience & be ceative not everyone understand the same way, that is why you need paitents and creativity to be able to explan in diffrent or even concontional ways, such as though jokes, games and creative examples.

If you are not sure exactly what you should teach, then try to find out the contents of other course.

Make yourself an outline of the subject that you plan to teach. Make sure the outline covers all the topics that are needed to understand the subject.

If necessary brush up on your knowledge of the subject.

Find out where you can get books, or worksheets, or other information that your students will need. It is best if each lesson you come with written martial that you can give the student or have a workbook.

Advertise anywhere and everywhere. Some ways to advertise are:

  • put an ad in the local paper
  • put ads at your local food store, and commercial center
  • on community bulletin boards

Flies

  • hand out flies
  • put flies on cars
  • put flies in mailboxes on door

There is a need for people to teach almost everything, to start you will need to advertise by passing out flyers or advertising in a local newspaper, putting up ads at your local supermarket, at the local university anyplace where you are allowed to hang a flyer.

If you are not so confident in your ability to teach, then try to each beginners until you find the level that you are comfortable teaching.

Teaching tips:

  • Listen to the questions the student is asking you.
  • Be friendly and upbeat
  • Be positive, try to encourage the students
  • Find ceative ways to teach, such as game, pictues etc.
